A small peaceful town in Norway. But forces other than peace and tolerance are brewing beneath the surface. It all begins with Martin, a teacher, accused of being gay. The rumor spreads and also hits his friends Kjærsti and Sara, who live together. The three are deviants in people's eyes, and threaten the image of reality.
